Threshfield Quarry

“Walk the shape of something in the landscape you can see. Where does it take you? If it takes you to another shape, walk that shape.”

During September 2012, Bryony helped develop activities and events to celebrate the new public footpaths across Threshfield Quarry in upper Wharfedale in collaboration with Yorkshire Dales Landscape Research Trust and Tarmac.

The events included an adult sketching session inside Threshfield Quarry, exploring the industrial landscape of both the huge quarries at sunset.

In September 2012 a celebration took place inside Threshfield Quarry for the public to enter the site and learn more about The Threshfield Quarry Project. Bryony developed and delivered activities for families to help explore the site and interact creatively and imaginatively with the landscape.
